Celebrating Day of the Dead through art form. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, there was a halt in many of our cultural festivities. There was a need to represent these traditions and so the idea of bringing art form and celebration came to be.

Monica Lugo, Alexandria, and I were selected to a paint our mural proposal for the City of Brownsville. An amazing experience and even more amazing outcome!

Sam Rawls and Melissa Vega have been curating an exhibition on women's work for 5 years, and still going. Their most recent exhibition was in March 16th to the 27th in 2019. This an annual exhibition in which they show case women's art from the Rio Grande Valley.
